I didn't manage it. On PES6, I got offered loads of times swap deals by other clubs deeply in my favour. Like Ruskin for Maxi Rodriguez or whatever.

You'd get them on loan, if you offer enough, you wont sign them permanently.
You really need to have Gutierrez up front.

I haven't started a master league for this years version, seems to be the same old same old to me. It gets quite boring after the 4th time or so. Is it worth starting or not really?
What difficulty settings are you using? I'm using Top Plyaer with the hardest ML setting and I just finished my first season... I think I won 3 games .. tops?.. its certainly not easy.
To get players check the New Commers group.. I would only buy from this group until your 1st offseason then i would venture into the "Playlers without a club" group as well. But I would not go out side those two groups... sicne those are the only two groups you can buy from without having to pay a transfer fee.
There are some very nice and promissing players in both of these groups, so you shouldn't really need to go elsewhere until you are very rich.
I'm having trouble staying a float though.

im using top player good news i won my first league game and then lost the next 2 games and im also now out of the d2cup and the tranfer window came i got ameobi on loan he has played 2 games and hit the post im relying on him cause he has caused me debt i need 754 points or something like that if i was using manutd i would piss that well i wouldnt be in that situation but where did u say those player are how to i find these groups
I've banned myself from taking players on Loan since its buggy. Basically they will come over no matter what you offer. You can get Kaka on loan for 1 point if you want, but that's cheating IMO. I toyed around with the idea of just using the default values, but since the game NEVER says no to you then I think its a bit silly. Also the ability to bring in Elite players on a D2 squad on loan ruins the realism factor
With that said, you want to go to Negotiations > Search > Search by Group
Then go to the bottom for OTHER or something like that.. and you'll have some categories. The top category is "New Commers" and the next one underneath is "Players without a team" or something like that. In the first transfer window (mid season) the "Players without a team" category is not populated, at least it wasn't the few times I've checked it, but it can't hurt to double check. That group will be populated for sure in the offseason when players are released and such... but there will be some very nice players there.
Aside from that I don't know if I have much more to add. My huge problem is defending corners and crosses so I'm hoping to find a CB that is tall and has good jump and heading abilities, but the one position that is somehwat lacking in the "New Commers" and "Players without a team" seems to be CB, so I've just tried to work with what the ML default gives me to this point.
You should add players from the newcommers gropu to your scout list so by the time the offseason rolls around you can have some useful information on them.

so the end of the seaon came i had won 1 game and drew 3 0-0 in a row then drew a 2-2 and then lost the last to games of the season and loads of looses and ameobi went back to newcastle hopefuly in his head in shame after just one goal and no assists hardly any help from him and ive played a super star team which was south american and lost 4-0 still trying for zaki
Its a good challenge though...
I went ahead and bought a lot of newcommers and players without a team and the squad is nice, but I'm 10k in the hole so I basically have to win the Cup or I'm fcked ... but that's fun, its like a do or die thing.
