Hi to, er, everyone...

Been playing since about '98, had great times that year playing during the World Cup (even though it was a pants one 'cos half of them were season-fatigued or partly-injured!).

It's always been great. Thank goodness the original developers didn't use up too much programming space with making it look 'beautiful' and concentrated on the gameplay. The rarely acheived digital capture of nature's fluidity in the kinetic side of the game is what makes it fantastic - the beauty of the movement and animation is far more important than the surface beauty acheived by the dire, you-know-who, so called competiton...

As well as ML and various cups and other leagues, I have what I call a 'contemporary team' with current favourites, with which I like to muck about, i.e. train, test formations/theories, play mates, etc.

Henry, seen u on here b4 with yr Foe tribute...I think it's quality...still remember the day it happened...it was so sad because unlike some foreigners, and indeed nationals, he was in no way a mercernary...he always seemed to put his big heart into every game...the Mighty Mersey Reds could've probably done with him in his pomp to try and add some steel to the Spice boys...it's because he was such a strong and athletic specimen that his passing seemed especially sad, and it looked as though he could go on to be one to remember...we'll remember him, as I'm sure his countrymen do with light hearts...

er, soz for the dark side, have you been playing today, and who with?

The mighty LFC, greatest of England's European and League champions!, obviously lately gifted by spawn, now we can't afford to reach the top of the tree (when Collymore came for 8.5 that was a normal summer, us moving first, still shelling out the most) and still making some possibly dubious calls

I believe that Rafa knows football, he is a foreign manager who can add to foreign league championship wins and do it over here...it's just we can't afford to buy any, or many, world class players any more, and when you've been used to the greatest happenings, then been deprived for 14 years until something sublime happens, it makes you go, er...well...where am I now? And us? And them?

Will the years of pain be over? Still don't think the league's obtainable...we must get intoa position, somehow, anyhow, to acheive league greatness again - that feeling in your team is the best - Istanbul's not a bad new 'Holy site' though, eh?
