No Sound At All

I recently booted up PES5 and I have no sound whatsoever. It was working fine until this morning.

System Specs
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2ZS
Ati Radeon 9200
1 Gig Ram
3.2 GHZ Pentium 4

All other programs work fine sound wise. Does anybody know why the sound does not work at all in the game. Would a restart of the PC Fix it?

i know this might sound silly mate but i had the same problem but all it was when i put it on there was no sound so i went to the options and then to sound options and they where all right down.... have you checked this yet.

hi guys
i have the same problem, since last november when i reinstalled winshit xp last time. only the intro has sound, in the game everything is without sound.
i tried the followings:
- reinstalling original sound card driver
- installing latest sound card driver
- installing latest directx
- messing around with directx hardware acceleration
- installing many sound codecs including adx, the pes sound format
i did many others, some of them are too obvious, so except for the full windows reinstall i did everything it was possible without any results
same here, any other games, applications, movies etc works fine with sound.

my pc config: winshit xp sp2, ati 9600, A7N8X AMD Motherboard (SB integrated onto it), ATI 9600

i really miss peter brackley and trevor brooking, so any good idea would be welcomed
