Hi Guys

Ive been playing alot of the classic teams because im kind of an old fogey but i love this game and the kids never get to play their playstation games since I picked up pes 3! haha

Anyways after my evil rant, im playing against a friend who hands me my arse on a plate no matter what team he plays, I really really want to be able to learn to play classic germany as im a kraut by birth and Id really appreciate it if one of you pes gods could just give a basic template for a formation that works ok for classic germany and the players to use, i figured out beckenbaur is a fantastic sweeper and thats about it hehe

Any insight on formation and tactics for classic germany would be greatly appreciated.

go for 5-3-2 thats what they used in their time im pretty sure they had heaps of support in defence and plus alot of defenders especcialy beckenbauer brought the ball up the field to support the midfield even strikers, with this formation u should try focusing on alot of possession.

Overath and Netzer are fabulous attacking players.
Brehme is a good full back.
As for formation, if your mate is killing you, play 5-3-2 put your CBT's right in front of the keeper and defend like mad. Go for set pieces and counter attacks to get your goals, he can't beat you if he can't score!
Get Muller right in the box, he will always get you the odd goal.
