Some of you may of read how i was having trouble with my winning eleven 9 playing in black and white..I keep reading that people are having the same problem, so i thought i should add this topic and hopefully it can help other people who are in the same position i was..

i now have a perfect working version of WE 9 in colour on my old tv set, and it runs in full screen..

make sure you have an iso image of WE 9. You can create one with a number of programs... magic iso is one.

then download This NTSC to PAL patcher

unzip and run... browse to the we 9 iso...and put the check mark in NTSC to PAL then click patch... it should say ok!

thats it now the game is patched...

now burn the iso back to dvd

and you should now be playing the game in colour and without the need of cables and tv's that support ntsc

hope this helps some people

anyone with black and white problems playing WE9 or any other NTSC game needs to get a RGB compaptable TV and an RGB scart lead

NTSC games run at 60 hertz which is 17% faster than Pal, i've actually patched some of my pal games like Ridge racer 5 to NTSC to improve the screen size and speed, seems crazy people would go the other way

but if u want to patch go here http://www.exploitstation.com

http://www.exploitstation.com/files/PAL&NTSC.rar

this site has patching files to but u need to register to donwload files

In the link probited by Zigalski they have a utility for both PAL2NTSC and NTSC2PAL. I live in the U.S. and one of my games when I play it the screen starts spinning around like those old TVs, Is this suppoest to happen if it's PAL? if so, I can try to fix it with the utility I downloaded, but first I would like someone to let me know if this is suppost to happen when its PAL. I don't want to waste my DVDs. Maybe Zigalski can help me. I would realy appreciate it.

The above file will work for ntsc to pal... but if you use pal to ntsc you will get a rolling screen... sorry!

Great prog Zyg. I can now record goals/videos etc as I have my PS2 through my PAL DVD recorder! Cheers!

Btw, the program works both NTSC to PAL and vice versa.

have you actually tested pal to ntsc as the option is there but it is buggy and can cause the screen to roll

like i said the ntsc to pal is perfect...for we 9 anyway

Hi there. Look, I know you guys probably gonna kill me for these questions that I'm about to ask, but, hey, I'm fresh in these editing things (for PES, 'cause I used to edit a lot a things for FIFA - untill the 2002 version).
I'm aware that are inumerous threads about this, but I really can't find a clean and simple answer to my (many) doubts; so, I wanted to know what software do I need (the essential) to use and what steps do I need to take to patch my PES4 for PS2, but I'm only interested in changing some kits - I can't see myself downloading those ENORMOUS 100mb or 200mb patch files.
Is it posible to do?

If any of you guys could explain how (or just post a good link) I'd be grateful.

Thanks

Do not say "anyone?" when you have only waited 25 minutes for a reply which you are not deserving of since you posted your request in a totally inappropriate thread. You are better off download the jonboyo patch for your game. Otherwise use the search function to find the thread which explains how to "import kits" into the game and then you have to download every one of the 4 kits per team in the game and import them individually.

Hi (Yes, I know I'm in the wrong thread, I just don't know where to "find" you). I tried to follow the tutorial on importing kits to PES4, but you guys talk about a DATA_E:AFS file that, er... how should I put it... simply doesn't exist. I tried the ISO buster, the DVD decrypter and nothing - the file doesnt' exist! What should I do?!!! (by the way, could you tell me the right place to post these stupid doubts)

Thanks

Try asking in the thread where you saw the tutorial.
Yes there is a data_e.afs file inside PES4. Not sure why you can't find it. List the steps you took in the other thread and someone should be able to help.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but can you use this convertor patch in conjunction with say Reefurs so its all in English with proper strips as well as running in colour?

Dunno. Try it and see.
By "reefur's" you mean "Fernando's" right?

I don't think the patches should interfere with each other but someone will have to try it and see what happens. Let us know.
