Yeah I played Pes4 at gs live and the 3 leagues are definitely in the game so theres nothing to be worried about. But as you quoted t1000 i agree with you on the fact that its very fifa-ish with the 3 heads and im not sure this is the official cover. Btw guys you cant be too displeased because its a big step for konami considering its the first game to have real football players on the front!

id have expected henry all over the cover! id have prefered that as it shows how big the game is, him and totti just look like they are hiding behind the ref!

that doesn't look like an "official cover", it's so amateurish. plus, the background for the cover is just the same as a promotional cover, like the one seen on this site:



feels like some nerdy kid used his horrible photoshop "skills".

Yeah i completely agree i would defintely have Totti knocked off there if i could! But i just thought i wouldn't want to insult all those Totti fans out there by saying Henry should be on his own on the cover.

Collina's still a ref, he's just had to step down from Internationals. They tried to get him for the Premiership, and after this weekend's pantomime he'd be welcome.
Speaking from a design point of view (as I am a graphic designer), the Pro Evo 4 cover is shit, the Fifa cover captures more the excitement of a footie game, but let's face it Fifa needs every leg up it can get, so they've obviously spent a bit. There's no way the PES4 cover is the result of a photo-shoots with Henry and Totti, they look just like something grabbed, so I'm hoping it's just a press release job and not the final proof.

At the end of the day, it's inside the box what counts. But if you're reading Konami, let's loosen the purse strings shall we?

I doubt that is the final cover. It just doesn't stand up for itself side-by-side on the games shelf next to FIFA (for the numbskull that knows nothing about either game, you can see which game they would choose).

Sigh, isn't this all what I said back on the first page, you only have to read the website to see that it doesn't say that the cover is the official one anywhere, it's just a mock up they put together to get the excitement flowing. Hopefully whoever did it has now been sacked, look forward to seeing a newer better one soon
