Official PS2 Mag PES3 review...

Just to say that i've just bought the above mag (with MOH on the front) and PES3 is reviewed and gets 10/10.
Not that i needed my mind making up.
not got a scan of it or even had chance to read it yet because of work, tsk.

i've just been to the shops and the new ps2 mag dosen't have pes3 in it it has Club Football.

The PSM2 mag has PES3 and they gave it 96%

No, that was WE7 that they gave 96%. Unless of course they have reviewed PES3 in the latest edition that came out yesterday.

YES i know but the new official mag came out today with medal of honor on the front and the only footie game reviewd is club football.

PSM2: PES3 - 96%, WE7 - 96%

OPSM2: PES3 - 10/10, CF - 7/10

Out today, Jak II on the disc with Prince of persia,
Page 66 in a big feature review 'the cult of pes3' or something. i literally only had chance to read the little score box atr the end of the review, but honestly it's there!!
it's not in the review section for some reason

Club football gets 7/10 and says it's clunky or something.
MOH 9/10
Jak II 9/10 (dunno why i put them in)
therefore Official PS2M : pes3 10/10, club footy 7/10

all i know is Cainer is claiming that the new official mag gave pes3 10/10.

i saw the new official mag today and nowere on the cover does it say anything about pes3!!!

but it does have a review of club football.

but the new psm2 mag that came out today gave pes3 96%

thats what i know.

By the looks of it it seems like it's a last minute thing (maybe cos the release date got brought forward).
looks like they were doing a feature on pes3 and then changed it to a review at the last minute. it's only mentioned in passing on the plastic bag that the mag's in.
So pes3 did the same as we7 in the PSM2 mag then? i was trying to find that today but the ship to the Isle of Man must've sunk on the way here or something

ok,no offence Cainer i wasn't calling u a liar

but the review in psm2 says that it would of got 99% if the commentary was better and had more licenses.

so looks like pes3 is good,some people were getting woried by the demo!

it's ok, i was just beginning to doubt myself that's all! thought i may have imagined it.
the PSM2 mag usually writes really good reviews for pes, loads of detail and stuff, shows they're real fans.
i was suckered into buying the official one cos of the disc (again!), bet the write up will be pap. but at least it means that the box'll probably get a nice little sticker on the front with 10/10 on, might sway the casual purchasers and grannies at christmas!

All these extremely impressive scores when compared to Club Football's scores show that licensing and detail isn't everything.

If PES had the licensing, as PSM2 obviously have stated, it would be pretty much flawless.

I think the reason CF got a higher score in the XBox magazine probably lends itself more to there being no PES game or anything similar on the Xbox rather then reviewer opinion.

All they have to compare it to is FIFA 2004, unless they use a system of counting other consoles titles too.

Good point Cainer....I look forward to a monumental 10 on the front of PES3's box.

Weather this will sway the ignortant punters we'll have to see but its always nice to get good reviews.

I value EGDE the most, and they game WE7 9/10 so because PES3 is nigh on identical it would get a 9/10 aswell.

just read the review in ops2m, and have to say it is a very good review, not just informative but funny too. they're obviously as much pes fans as the other mag. they have a cool bit where they try to convert "non-believers" (ie fifa players) to the "true path".

hilarious stuff.

and good point about EDGE, they're well harsh but fair. good advert for pes3 defo.
I was actually quite looking forward to the codies first footy game, was going to use it as a stopgap before pes3, no need now, yay!.
Shows they need to get SWOS out on the GBA for their first footy game success!
