I wouldnt say they were energy bottles but just a fancy extra which does jack! I heard that you could see players drinking during a match or injury but i am yet to see that.

I don't think it is possible to edit the ML players as no-one has managed to do it so far and everyone is complaining about it. Hopefully a patch will sort out the names for us.

Konami and Sony have made an announcement regarding to the user complains in World Soccer Winning Eleven 7, about the game freezes on the console or loading slowly. It is confirmed that a small portion of the first shipment are defective. Those who have a defective disc can contact Sony Computer Entertainment or Konami to obtain a new disc, free of charge.

Seems there will be 1.1. Or its just "change it if doesnt work you.

I've been playing we7 for a couple of days and I heve noticed a few things.
1. the ML default team is worst than ever.
2. I played a season in ML with 5* difficulty. I conceded 12 goals. only 3 of them were true goals all the others were rediculus and would never seen any of these in WE6fe.
3. WE7 is compitely different than WE6FE. It's like playing another game.
4. I can't understand why the refferee is giving away red cards so easy (only in 4 games I managed to finish with 11 players) and on the other hand it's very difficult to win a foul.

Thats why the game is good fordfocus. Its more of a challenge. if you lose a few it will make you more eager to work harder in terms of effort.

If you set it this way then you're right jag. I guess we will have to get used to WE7 and later we will have no problem playing it

Is it just me or is WE7 very FIFA-like? Not the gameplay, but the graphics. I'm not sure whether I like it or not. The crosses are a massive dissapointment compared to the hard, drilled crosses of WE6:fe. They just feel all floaty and, quite frankly, shit! Come to think of it I think the whole game seems somewhat 'floaty' without the solid 'contact' of the previous games. Shooting is also soft and lacking compared to WE6:fe. And what's happended to the sound of the ball? I don't seem to be able to hear it very well.

On the plus side, passing and shooting are much more responsive (especially volleys) and the player models are very good, even though I always find the WE models to be too muscular. Great crowd noise and loud tannoy sounds.

I can't help but be disappointed. I really wanted to love WE7.........

It does seem like that - I would say it looks more TIF though. Must be the new rendering techniques they used.

I think WE7 is more true to real footie than previous games.

We're hearing good things about PES3, such as how it's easier to control the ball. As long as they didn't go too far, it'll be good to see how much different it is.

Did you prefer the crossing in WE6:fe Zyg? I hope it's exactly the same as it was then in PES3. It was bloody great! I agree that it resembles real football a lot more than previous games but it's just that damn floaty feeling! Is there a button you can hold down to make the crosses have more spin or just plain harder? Please say there is!!

Agree with you Mumpleaser mate, the crosses are s*** in WE7, it´s not the problem that they are ineffective, I´m scoring much goals after crosses, but they look unrealistic, WE6FE crosses were perfect.
To the gameplay I think like Zy that it´s closer to real football than PES2, it´s harder to dribble, especially on 4* or 5* you have to pass a lot and take every chance you get.

If you use players with good crossing stats like Beckham, the crosses will be faster. Try using L1 + O to cross and maybe play around with the different long pass options in the controller settings screen. Which option do people not using the default one use to cross with?

I'm getting more into dribbling in WE7. Using L1 dribble to beat the player helps a lot.

I'll just answer my own question then shall I? The one about not being able to hear the ball. Well, last night I bought the 'Ball effect' option in the WE Shop and in the next match the ball could be clearly heard whenever it was struck! Lovely sound as well (not like someone hoofing a haggis like it was in PES2)! Strangely enough, this little sound effect has made the game less floaty (another one of my critisms earlier in this thread). All is good in my WE7 world at the mo!

Apart from the fact that I can't find my Action Replay disc, only the memory card thingy! Oh well, I'll just have to scrape together 10000 WEN my damn self!

Did you know that you get WEN for playing exhibition matches against mates? About 700 if I remember correctly.

For me it's 50 WEN per match completed, of any type. I read that the ball effect was supposed to add a visual effect during replays only so that sounds interesting.

It might have only been 70 WEN, after all it did happen yesterday evening and my memory is rather shit! How can anyone be expected to remember something that happen the night before.....jesus.......who?.....no, 3 o'clock........
