The offside rule should be improved in future pes

on pes2 the linesman flags VERY late its so annoying

and some plyers will get offside even though their not involved in the play.

giggsy11 don't get your hopes up about late offsides!!!!!!
having played pes3 they are even later (i scored a beautiful tapping with cisse and the ref blew the whistle for offside well after i scored)

That would be amazing! On PES2 I think the offside is measured when he touches the ball rather than when it is passed. I don't mean they are in acurate but I think that is why the call is dead late.

I had a beautiful player animation in WE7 once following a late offside call.

It was a great move. 88th minute. Bergkamp and Henry working well before a searing chipped pass from Bergkamp landed at Pires feet followed by an immediate half-volley 'goal'. As the ball passed the line, I heard the ominous offside call, which was met by an uncharacteristic arms-out gesture by Pires. It was great, at that, but what really clinched it was a switch of angles showing the dejection and, in some cases, anger of the other Arsenal players.

I thought it was a great touch by Konami. :)

umdiddley when you scored did cisse celebrate before the offside flag went up?

no but he swang his right hand in anger (just like inzaghi usually does in matches, seen as he's always offside)
but he was just about to celebrate

Word! That boy doesn't have a clue what offside means!
I think he was the player caught offside most of all at Euro '96 and he's kept up the good work ever since.
