Oh dear, what can the matter be?

I am sorry to say this but PES2010 (I have PC version) is a big disappointment.
It is early days and I intend to stick with a franchise I have stuck with from the beginning but...

- every team, whether Burnley or Barca, play the same way - the way the ball whizzes around midefield with one touch passes on the deck is ridiculous.
- strikers pick the ball up from MF and can turn with no one near them, every time...so every attack starts that way - again, ridiculous. Lumping the ball forward still happens in real life you know..
- I appreciate trying to remove dribbling to get a more realistic game but you cannot even turn without resembling the Titanic and you just lose the ball.
- the BAL mode still seems a great idea but flawed in many ways such as the rating...only goals and assists and no of tackles count?

I think realism is what should be strived for, but this must be balanced with fun which people will derive from being able to turn and dribble - this is after all a game. This fact may have been missed...

I am glad you never got ur way with PES2010 and that the game is a hell of a lot more challenging than what you would like it to be.

PES2010 is not without its faults, but none of them are the ones that you describe. Also, from some of the things that you state, I would suggest that you just aint played the game properly yet cos ur too busy crying about how u just cant run thru a whole defense anymore.

I win virtually every game like 2-0 or 3-0 and have beaten a couple of teams 5-0

The difficulty is not the issue - the dribbling however, is. You literally can't turn on the ball within 5 seconds of of pressing a different direction or whatever, it's impossible to hold the ball up at all, the only way to play the game is to have 5 people up front so you have someone to pass to.

The reaction times are also abysmal, you press shoot or pass and it just won't. The amount of chances I've missed from 2 yards out because it refuses to shoot first time and the touch it does take is completely retarded.

Ok, so maybe the dribbling in 2008 was unrealistic but it wasn't so bad in 2009.

This game needs a patch. These are completely flawed mechanics.

You're probably one of these cry babies who can't deal with people dribbling at them on the older pro evos. Learn to dribble/tackle.
