I cant believe that Bernard has no good stats on the game. He is a great left back and was considered to take over Lizaruzu place in euro 2004.

Does anybody have updated stats for him? He is one of the best left backs in the premiership

oh my god i support newcastle through and through and even i think that he is absolute trash, hes cumbersome and sluggish, hes clumsy and makes loads of mistakes, he is good some matches tho, hes not solid like woodgate, which i make out is probly newcastles best player.

You are getting confused m8! Bramble is the clumsy one that doesnt know what he is doing. Oliver reads the game well and gets stuck in and is very creative on the left flank! Plus all of his goals have been class in a black and white shirt -
1st - Blackburn 02 Home edge of the box turned hit first time, curled into bottom corner
2nd- Man utd fair enuf it was a cross bt it completly beat Barthez from a pericular angle
3rd- Chelsea home (little chip with the outside of his boot) tht was amazing
4th - what about his goal at highbury this season - it went in like a rocket

The only mistake Oliver did this season was the game against Leeds when he tried to head it back to Given but it was too short and Alan Smith nipped in and scored, appart from that he has been our most consistant defender as Woodgate has only played 60% of the season. But yes i agree Woodgate is our best defender without a shadow of doubt
Bramble is our worst defender and he is the one that makes the most mistakes!
