Many people will find what I have to say as contraversial. There are many avid followers of the PES series not least me. I like so many have bought every title.

Recently the quality of the Pes game has been sub-standard, which Konami to their credit have accepted.

The online mode has been nothing short of broken in the past two PES offerings. There been many a frustrating evening with the controller been hurled against the wall after conceding a goal to a lesser with albeit apparent matrix like ability to evade my defence and punish a hapless/ comatosed keeper.

THe online MUST BE THE PRIORITY/ NOT THE GAMEPLAY

The gameplay has been improved this year, thats evident from the previews. Worringly however, there has been little mention of the online system. Yes I hear we are RESORTING back to the pes 6 engine (which wasnt perfect by a long stretch), but is that enough to reassure you?

Fifa has an excellent online facility. If PES dont match it I will not buy it. I never thought I'd see the day I'd say that.

Good luck Konami. Dont disappoint us.

The online gaming has to be spot on, for a couple of reasons;

1. I can't afford to keep shelling out for new controllers and repairs to holes in the wall.

2. Like the man said- you lose to someone through no fault of your own and you know you have been done by lousy lagging. But, then you beat someone (who perhaps from their superior points should have whipped you) and then you stop and think to realise that perhaps the lagging this time was on your side. You end up mistrusting the whole online play, never knowing whether you were any good in the first place and still will never know???????

3. The very idea of online is to play other people with different ideas of how they think or want to play football, thus enabling everyone to be better tactically aware. I think?

The online mode will not be any good till the speed of broadband is super fast for everyone. Well my theory anyways.

Just had a 2 hour session with Pes 6 online. DW my friend and i didnt see one, not one (thats rite i said not one) glitch in my 2 hours of play. It was lag free and i had alot of fun. Pes 6 fukin kicks ass on 360. I scored a 30 yarder with eto from an angle which was quality and all my games were tight. It was fun and all we were doing was quick match. 201 will have all these new modes etc.

What a game it is and it bodes well for 2010.

ps, not one glitch!
