I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of an option file with everything done apart from the player/team/leauge/etc names as i would like to start from scratch and sieve through every team

Thanks

Not sure what you mean.
So you want all the names to be default (ie mostly wrong) but the kits/logos to be done? Don't think you'll find a file like that.

yeah thats exactly what im looking for Zygalski, but if its going to be quite tricky finding one i guess ill have tostart everything from scratch. is there anyway to edit everythhing for the ps2 without using the in-game editor?, i have the max drive shinanigans too.

Thanks again

You may be able to use 2 memory cards to import only the data you want. Download and put the pesfan file on one memory card and have the default option file on another and then try importing stuff like kits from the pesfan one to the default one. That might work.

Another easy way to edit PES5 option files is by using the option file editing program. Link:

Thanks again Zygalski, top help there. Ill use the PESFanEditor thanks, then just the kits to do, i think thats the part i find the most difficult. One last question, is PES6 going to be PS2 or PS3 you think, im hoping PS2 as im a bit frightened of the PS3 console price tag rumors floating around.

Cheers

No worries.
I'd assume the next game would be available on both, like PES1 and PES2 were for both PS1 and PS2. We'll have to wait and see. I'll get a PS3 as soon as the next PES is released ... well hopefully :)
