Own Goals !!!!!

Hey i was just wondering....... seen as that ive heard of so many great goals from everybody............... has anybody ever scored any crazy own goals. I have scored (actually the best goal i have ever scored) an own goal from about a yard inside my own half. I long passed it back to my keeper for some reason and instead of him jumping up and chesting it, he just let the ball go over him into the goal. It was actually right in the top corner. It was amazing.

Anybody ever do anything like that?

Well sorta my keeper got lobbed by me in a way but i was tryna do that.

I made him come out far and i just clicked it over him

I've sent a few back passes that rocket into bottom corners. :realmad:

But the computer scored a class own goal which I actually saved. I took an optimistic lob as Pele from 25 yards that was just dipping in when Given made a miraculous diving save - jaw-dropping (best save I've seen on the game) - only for his defender to head it straight into the back of the net under no pressure.

The best one I have seen was when I did a really awful corner kick that one of the opponents defenders headed down to the floor and one of his teamates caught on the volley - their keeper tried to scramble a save and it bounced onto the line when another player ran in and tried to clear it but ended up in the top of the net.

The ones that make me angry are those balls in the little box that bounce from one defender to an other before it goes in the net.

The best own goal i'v seen is when i was attacking, the defender took the ball off me and passed it away out 2 the left back. So i then pressured him and he passed the ball straight back 2 the keeper who just let the ball roll right passed him and into the net. 2 this very day i still don't have a clue as 2 what the keeper was up 2.

I shot a the goalkeeper and it bonced off him a defender ran in trying to clear the ball and knocked it into his own net

Ooh wait thought of one.

I made Cardiff City, and ended up facing them in the Master League. I took a corner, one of their defenders headed it out only for Langley (Cardiff right midfielder) to volley it back towards his own goal and into the top corner. :lol:

Also when I m being attacked and there is a shot that the keeper gets but dont hold than a defender comes in running with me pressing the shooting button to clear only to see this defender running without any sense of control into my own net with the ball.

The best I've seen was scored by the computer, I'm through on goal, round the 'keeper, my shot is partially blocked but still trickling across the line, before the left back amazingly races across to hack it off the line...and straight into his teammates hip and into the goal.

Oh this one was great i was my master league against liverpool and i tried playing a through ball to farfan but hyppia intercepted it passed it back to dudek who went to kick it but it went straight through his legs .................. i was well chuffed

i beat argentina 2-1 as england and all 3 goals were scored by argies. My two were identical as owen was 1-1 with the keeper, shot against the spread keepers legs, hit the defender tailing owen and rolled into the goal.


my fave tho was when i took a corner, swung it into the near post and rommedahl chopped down their defender and it got chested into their own goal, im pretty sure it would have been a foul except the ref didnt have time to blow the whistle

Achually what I like to do is, from kick off, kick the ball straight back to your gollie, run out abit with him, then with fall power smack the ball up there end. The defender will useally be running up, and one of your forwads will be waiting for it just outside there bok. Easy goal

Anyway, once time I did this, the goalie tried to controll it with his feet, but he got nutmeged and it bounced up into the goal.

i was playing with france in the world leage, last game of the season against colombia, who leads me by ONE point, up 2-0 with about 10 minutes left, when Colombia decides to sub in a player, MY CREATED PLAYER, it was ME. So of course, he takes it to me and scores two goals in the next five minutes, and as time expires, im passing it back to my keeper who's out about 20 m from his goal so he can clear it, he clears, bad thing is silvestre is standing no more than three feet in front of him. The ball goes off his head, ALLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way into the goal with a curve that not even roberto carlos could have put on the ball. it was insane, didnt know whether to cry or to laugh.

I scored a cracker of an own goal when i first got the game and when i was trying to clear it,it must of been a glitch cos i went to kick it up the field but it went behind the defender,smacked off the bar and went it! I was gutted cos it was against a mate aswell!

once on my master league i was just outside of the area and mexes just smacked it clear but it hit john terry on the back of the head and lobbed the keeper.

I was calmly passing the ball along the ground back to my keeper from the edge of the box for him to thump it out. He stood motionless as the ball nutmegged him and went in!!
