If you completed the DVD ripping guide the first time, there's no reason to start again unless you patched your rip without making a backup.

Either way, keep the original bin/cue folder in a safe place and don't patch it. Only patch copies of them. This saves having to rip it all over again.

Once you've followed the rip guide, yes you have the equivalent to the Confusion rip.

You just do a simple Apply patch for the 5.1.04 and then you repeat it by patching the patched bin with the 7.1.04 update file (as explained in larsson's post of that thread).

5.1.04 / 7.1.04 - nice one I finally understand !!!

Having a bit of trouble downloading 5.1.04 / 7.1.04 at the moment, seems to be really really slow !

I tried both lonmuntong ( think thats it ) and also the link you gave me yesterday & it says its gonna take 19hours !!!!

I gave it 2 hours & it wasn't really getting anywhere. Is that me doing something wrong ? It was fine last night ?

lomungtung speeds vary. If you're using FlashFXP, it should come at 10KB/s if set that to be your download limit. Took about 3 or 4 hours in total for me.

Use the http://welshfootball.users.btopenworld.com/5.1to7.1.rar link to get the 7.1.04 update file quickly.

I think that could have been my problem with 5.1.04 yesterday, it only took about 20 mins to download !

7.1.04 has been updated to 8.1.04 hasn't it ?

I wasn't using flash fxp, just downloaded it.

I was just going onto the site, opening the rar and saving it, not quite right ?!

Just one more question for tonight if I may, how do I use flash fxp ?
I know I should read up but I think you may well understand why I'm asking !!!!!!!!!

I really want to get this done tonight as my PS2 should be back from Gordon tomorrow !!!!!!!!
