Patching WE9 problem

Hi ok guys need some help here I was trying to patch my version of WE9 with fernandos patch but every time I loaded it it just stayed on a black screen and didnt load at the start. So I got a clean iso file and just burned that to see if that worked and it still does the same so now I know it wasnt the patch cuasing the problem anybody know what it might be?

I use swap disc and it loads as a ps2 game but then just crashes and the laser is making weird noises so I just binned about 5 dvd's

1. Why open a new thread about this?
2. Why open the thread in the pc section when it should be in the console section?
3. If you don't provide more details then it's not easy to help you.

Go and read through the whole patching guide thread and if you have problems, ask in there. Most likely people have had the same problem as you and solved it but because they thought themselves unique enough to open a new thread about it, the information is possibly not in the patching guide thread and so it won't help anyone else.
