PE5 vs Winning Eleven 9

Hello, I'm using Winning Eleven 9 NTSC. I went out on a limb and d/l the huge X-mas patch for PE5 PAL found in the Xbox downloads section. Instead of the usual winning eleven 9 load screen coming up it says Pro Evolution Soccer 5. THen I get an error that says the disc you are using is either dirty or damaged. I do have a modded xbox and one of the other posters said he had no problem but I'm assuming he was using Pro Evolution 5 NTSC. Id the difference between these two games that great, or did I miss a step when patching my game? If so, are there any good patches I can use with Winning Eleven 9 NTSC?

Patches only work on the game they are made for.
You need to use a patch specifically made for your game.

Actually, I reinstalled the game on my HD and reinstalled the patch a second time and everything works fine. Even the option file. I'm now the proud owner of Pro Evolution Soccer 5. All I need now is to replace my game manual and case lol.
