That happens when L1 or L2 is pressed at the same time on the PS3 I think. Either you are pressing one of the shoulder buttons or your pad is faulty.

no l1 or r1 is not being pressed also the pad cant be faulty as the menu on pes and all other games work its just pes gameplay.
