Not sure if it got covered in here or not:

http://www.pesgaming.com/showthread.php?t=53764

Try the RAM trick first (msconfig and telling the OS to boot with only 3GB - details in the link above), then go from there.

it says:
Copy the kitserver folder from within the archive into your PES 2008 installation directory and then run the setup program

i cant even install PES, so how can i Copy it in the PES 2008 installation directory

thanx for the reply though

Konami's own support will tell you that they did not test the game on 64-bit XP or Windows Vista. I didn't have the issue you're having on 64-bit Vista but quite why, I don't know.

Unless someone with 64-bit XP can help with the problem, I'm struggling to see how you'll get it running.

so you managed to get it to work ? dual boot by any chance ?

I tried the 3GB trick and it almost when to a stage I hadn't seen before then it kicked back... to not adequate OS maybe I should try with 2GB ?

On 64-bit Vista it works for me with 4GB RAM; it didn't at first but I've obviously done something...either fixed it by a patch or something else which I hopefully documented in the PC Troubleshooting Thread. It was a while ago and I don't recall.

On 32-bit XP it worked immediately - and so it should.

I don't understand why it won't run on 64-bit XP when it does on 64-bit Vista but as Konami did fuck all testing they've managed to produce a rather ridiculous compatibility problem.
