PES 2008 Broke My Computer

Anyone been having major gfx and sound problems with other games on thier PC since installing PES2008?

I have, When playing other games, I get a stalling occurence with the audio codecs and 'V sync On' dont work.

Therefore, I re-installed XP, put other games on...voila....everything working fine and phew, thank god it wasn't a hardware problem.

I then put PES2008 back on....works good.....go to play other games......Audio codec stall and V Sync is fucked again. I uninstall PES2008, same problems, I do an entire system restore to before PES2008 was installed....same problem. Only fix was to re-install XP fresh!! .

My PC is now working fine again but without PES2008 installed on harddrive.

Anyone been having same problems?

What you claim is highly improbable and I believe in this particular case, impossible.

I'm not even going to waste time "helping" because this just seems like another of your threads stating how shit PES is.

I am not asking for help to fix the problem as I have no intention of sitting for hours re-installing XP, drivers, and all other utilities just to have another go at getting this game to work properly.

The end product is simply not worth the risk.

Doubt you would be able to help me (or anyone else) anyways.

So thanks but no thanks.

P.S. There are many far more weird and wonderful COMMON technicial hitches associated with PES2008 than this.
