I bought PES 2008 on PS3 last year but unfortunately the game was lacking too much so I didn't play that much and I ended up swapping it for cheap money in EB Games.

Anyway how is the 2009 on PS3. Is it without any lacking at all?

It still lacks. Online is better, but still shit compared to virtually every other online game released. In fact, I think it's only better than PES 2008 :erm:

Editing is considerably improved. General play is better, graphics are tidier, yada yada.

Looks better than PS2 PES's, but plays worse.

Wait 'til later this year & keep yer fingers crossed...

I've got it and I can only tell you this- don't expect any massive change. The current game hasn't improved and you will want to smash your Ps3 after a few games. If you don't have any alternative, and you want a decent soccer simulation, get it. The only good side of it is BAL, definitly the best addition to 2009.

On the bottom line- get it only if you can't do without it. Looking back, there is a slight chance I would've bought FIFA instead.

If you're connected to the internet download the demo through the PSN store and check it out.

It's much better than pes 08, but still, it could have been much beter considering the ps3's power. And also, it doesn't have any slowdowns.
