Maybe the final release version will have updated transfers, maybe it won't.

Did you prefer the transfer situation of PES2??!! Over 6 months out of date.

At least we can make transfers in PES3.

yea i totally agree, anways a while ago i read this article in a local magazine and it was saying how Pro evo1 was amazing because of the updated squads, so howcome Konami dont keep the games updated anymore??

it's all about licenses, and how do you get licenses? Exactly, with money

Nah Konami must have the money i think there just being tight ;)

I think your right, but i rather see they spend there money on improving the gameplay than on some licenses

Im sure they would sell so much more copies if they had the licenses  So it would be worth the money!

that's true, but i think they want to make a good soccer game in the first place. Surely they would like to make some money out of it, but they are not so focussed on the money as EA Sports

Then why wont they spend any? Its not gonna take that much of their time

Theres no stutter bug on mine :/ Mines smooth as a babys bottom. Just looks like we7, but in colour as my tv is shite and has no scart on lol. And the menus in english, with updated roster. Beckham in madrid etc, Ill post more as i find
Hey mark ive now played quite a few games and without doubt it is a lot better than we7 alot smoother and quicker , also you can now get more power on ya headers so scoring a header is easyer than we7 (which a thought was to hard couldn't get alot of power on headers) but its not as easy to score a header as pes2.
Now this brings me to the next thing is yours the dvd-r mark because mine is on cd-r as i said its been ripped and its deffo buggy , ive put it on better media at 1xspeed and theres still the stutter when the ball goes in for a goal there's a slight stutter and when you take a free kick or a sliding tackle it oftens stutters so either its a bad copy ive got or its a beta release or finally when it has been ripped from the dvd this problem has happened.
Please let me know if yours is on dvd-r
Thanks
Gaz ;)

yep mines on a cdr lol ive now noticed the stutter bug too having played more games. The ball jerks just before it goes in the net, kinda spoils it really :( the gameplay is smoother and there is some nice touches, im gonna stick with it, i prefer the english menus myself

Seen any official boots or balls yet (Adidas, Umbro)
Sorry mate i haven't noticed any official boots/balls yet to interested in the game play i will have a check for you though unless mark lets you know b4.
Im now pretty certain that this is a beta but apart from the stutter which isn't that bad its a big improvement over we7 and once the stutters removed it will be top notch.
Im also pretty sure that the review in the psw mag mentioned the stutter so maybe this copy is a leaked beta sent to the mag companys but its still worth having with the game not out for sometime if your machine will play it ie chip ect .
The more i play and find little things out don't worry ill let you all know i am also going to try and get my hands on the dvd-r version and see if this has the stutter hopefully tomorrow.

Kezman seems pretty bloody sure that this is the finished version, apparently he is very close to Konami and everyone else seems to beleive him, I wish it wasn't the case though. And I'd love to get my hands on the little ****** who made up them Champions League ball pictures!
