The Dude's PES 5 option file with 05/06 rosters (plus Reading, Sheffield United, Southampton, and Crystal Palace & CSKA Moscow)


*It is just an option file. NOT a patch. All you do is replace the Save folder in the documents folder.*


-Correct team names, player names, badges, kits, and formations for the 2005/2006 season.
-Fall 2005 transfers completed
-Every team has at least 22 outfield players (except the Dutch teams that may have 21)
-Almost all teams have 3 GKs unless I could find one to create.


I wanted to have 24 English teams for Master League. Southampton and Crystal Palace were in PES 4. Reading and Sheffield United were in PES 6. They all had a lot of in game players. I picked CSKA because they won the UEFA Cup.


Southampton over Djurgardens
Crystal Palace over Sparta Prague
Sheffield United over PES United.
Reading over WE United
CSKA Moscow created over Sao Paulo.


The Sparta Prague and Djurgardens players are now free agents or on national teams. I tried to only edit over players that were released/sold before the 2005 season. Also, I tried to only edit over players that were similar positions. GK for GK, SB for SB/WB, CB for DMF, and so on.


I went through all the players to make sure that there are no players with the same name. For example, the name Taylor. Maik Taylor, Steven Taylor, and M. (Matthew) Taylor. Some Brazilian players I didn't change like Adailton because they use nicknames.

*Update* i am updating all the summer transfers for 2005.

I added the badges for Cagliari, CSKA, Reading, and Sheffield.

In the option file, Cassano Ballack and Maxwell are missing from their respective clubs (I didn't find these)

This option will have transfers up to September 2005.

- Cassano is still on Roma. He transferred from Roma to Real Madrid in January 2006.
- Ballack is still on Bayern Munich. He transferred from Bayern to Chelsea in July 2006.
- Maxwell is still on Ajax. He transferred from Ajax to Inter in January 2006 but was loaned to Empoli until the July 2006.

Updating this file.

First I wanted to leave all real players in the game and only edit over fake players (PES and WE United) and use created players. There are not enough players to add the missing new transfers thou.

Now I will add Levante, Torino, and AEK Athens.

I may put Sao Paulo back in then add River Plate, Spartak Moscow and CSKA Moscow. I will create the teams over Other League clubs or 4 French and 2 Dutch teams.

I started working on this again. I am going through every team over just to check everything. I finished the Premier League and Bundesliga. I am trying to edit over the least amount of players as possible. And only the players that aren't on a team and careers were terrible. Like the ones that only had careers in the 3rd and 4th tiers. Also I am only editing over players that play the same position or similar like WB for a SB or CMF for DMF. I heard that it messes up the player's development if you don't.
