PES 6 in Xbox 360. A waste of money?

i cant stop playing fifa 07 ON 360, ITS awesome im a die hard pes fan but i always test fifa every year to see if they have improved this year i will buy and going on the pes feedback ill wait and see what more people think.
i downloaded the fifa 07 demo on the 360 market place and i cant stop playing it, goals and movement is individual now, goals are all differnt players move like the real players like how ronaldo runs like a gazzele to rooneys strenght holding plers of and ronladinho is so graceful with the ball like an artist.
if pes doesnt have the edit modes and uptodate rosters and replay saves many will not buy it fifa has all this in there game and playes like pes and will have better graphics and all the sponsers,
i believe Pes has hit a low patch since PES4 the game has not really improved at all, they need to revamp the gaame get more animations and get more leagues and divisions and for goodness sake change the points money system to pounds or dollars or euros i dont care
there is alot of people that dont know much about soccer games and see fifa and pes and buy fifa cos of the name and the marketing they do on it around the world and the people who buy pes buy it cos they know its the best game but for fact now its not the best on the next gen console i feel the game play on fifa is a step ahead of pes now after fifa remade there game with 1400 NEW animations the game looks almost real and the gameplay is nothing like ps2 version fifa or even wc2006 on 360 fifa has changed for good and is better.
Its good though cos now the next PES will be better for this competetion,

I got tired of fifa07 when i won with Barcelona 5-1 against Man U in the same demo you play. Oh yeah and that was in one half, on my first try, on the default difficulty setting. Now that shouldn't happen in any game.
I'll probably get PES6 on 360 as long as the gameplay is still top notch. I don't mind not being able to edit teams, i've been getting tired of keeping up with the real football world lately - it's too time consuming.
Does PES6 have full Ligue 1 and Sporting/Benfica? Or were they just rumours? I'll still have plenty of fun from a liscensing perspective if those teams are now liscensed.

May i just say , i disagree 100%
Ive been lucky enough to get my hands on a copy of PES6 on 360 , and its awesome. At 1st its feels strange not as familiar as the ps2 PES6 , a combination of the controller not being a dualshock2 & i dunno the more animations or whatever
Anyway , it hasnt taken long for me to get into my stride & im just after cuffing some french guy 6-0 on live.
sure its a huge dissapointment that there is practically no edit mode , you cant save replays etc . But its the fantastic gameplay that its all about. And no edit mode can make you feel as happy as battering six past someone as they shout "sacre bleu!"
The last few years i havent really played much master league or that , ive only really pulled out pes when a mate is round
This will change now tho as PES6 on Live works like a charm , ive experienced no lag & been disconnected once (when i scored in the 1st minute playing as scotland against england
)All in all i am delighted with the game on 360
As for Fifa , i have played the demo . It may have come on leaps and bounds but it is still nowhere near , not even remotely , PES6 . Players movement is better , passing seemed ok . Shooting & tacklling remain completely random & unnlike yourself i couldnt wait to STOP playing it.
My closing point is this
Its 3:35 & im only just going to bed , PES6 360 is NOT a waste of money

A FRESH NEW APROACH TO THE GAME OF FOOTBALL AND IT IS SO REALISTIC ITS IMPOSSIBLE FOR PES TO BEAT IT WITH ITS CURRENT GAME ENGINE

get a grip, the new fiifa is rubbish and it always will be. i've got the demo on 360 and theres not one good point about it but plenty of bad points,

>the players faces dont move a muscle and they look.....pasty and caricature like, they always have the same expression.

Not that i'm purposely trying to go against peoples opinions, but come on! FIFA 07 isn't that good. I've played the demo and it still feels far too lose.
-The passing can be horrible (especially when on the wing).
- There is little reason for using any long balls apart from crosses.
- It's far too easy to work your way from one side of the pitch too the other.
-Players still aren't unique in the skills they use (e.g. Ronaldinho does have a new animation, but it's just as easy to score a scissor kick and take people on with him as it is with anyone else).
- Players still don't make runs by themselves. I've stood there waiting, waiting, forever for them to make a run up the wing but they just stand there waiting behind you - which is extremely unrealistic, has EA never seen an overlap?
- Ball physics still aren't on par with PES - Sometimes the ball feels far too heavy, like a cannonball when it hits the ground - but other times it feels far too floaty, often from crosses.
- Still players stick to their roles and never break from them, just like in previous FIFA games. For example - Midfielders seldom get their asses forward and pitch in with the attacks unless it's a cross you're attacking from. This is really quite moronic from EA's point of view - "Lampard" never gets forward does he?
There are more problems but i'd have to refresh my memory by... *shudder* playing the demo some more. I really would love FIFA to beat PES, i think everyone here would like it too... because if it could beat PES imagine what a game it would be. I played the demo in an unbiased manner and it just didn't deliver - i think i'll stick to PES for now.
