PES Problems - An idea

Bring back PES 4&5!

At least then you could get a few decent games online... Sure there were a few laggy games about but there were a lot of good ones. PES 2008 is knackered online. It's not just the laggy stuff, there's something weird going on with it - I mean lag is lag - the game is going to stutter, but I've played game where I press to pass one way and he passes the other. I shoot in open space and he doesn't shoot. I press to head the ball and he doesn't head it. I press to tackle and he just stands there. The worst one of all is when the camera zooms to the other side of the pitch when the opposition is attacking and suddenly they're clean through on goal. It isn't just me - loads of people experience it.

Now I know that the game 'takes over' the play sometimes - like when playing offline and suddenly your defence freezes and the CPU scores, but is this what is happening online? If so, why? Surely a completely open competition is better. Online sometimes I think it's biased towards the losing team - you know to even the game up - but why? Football isn't like that so why put that into the game? Do the developers even know about football?

After 10 loyal years of playing the game since 1998 (ISS Deluxe - classic game I might add) I'm getting to the point were I'm looking for something else. The online part - which I play the most - has ruined my opinion of the game. Are they going to fix it? By the looks of it, no. It seems like they don't care and are happy to promote something that doesn't work, and, might I add, promote a farcical competition based on it. The competition's organisation is a joke - i've searched for players in my league and 5 of the gamertags don't even exist on XBox live, yet the bloke at the top of the league has managed to play them and get points. What an absolute joke of a competition. How many people bought the game from play.com down to the fact there was a competition online? No doubt 10,000's. Play.com rake in the money promoting something that is a farce. Ah well there's always FIFA. Hang on a minute, no there isn't, it's rubbish.

You're absolutely correct mate. The problems with the game online are more than 'lag'. It's a bloody disgrace. Offline it's fine. What's even worse is that they don't seem to care to fix it. I don't understand how people are playing this game online. Everyone I speak to has problems with this game
online. It's such a hame because it is a good offline game. I'm so disappointed with Konami. I love the PES series but the way this game is it's very hard to defend. Totally agree with your post.
:realmad: :realmad: :realmad: FIX IT SEABASS YOU SLACK A@# !!!
