I can play this game on a easy setting of 2, but I struggle on 3. 3 is much more realistic, but how do I cope? Whats the strategies?

Just practise.. it gets really easy soon enough. If you're looking for formations there are a heap of threads to look at.. do a search

When I first came to the pro evo series I had trouble, but now I play every game on six star difficulty.
Put the game on 5 star and play it like a real match. Don't try running to the goal from your own half, pass as much as possible and try to make it look like a real match that you would see on TV.

If you throw yourself in at the deep end you'll find you can swim.

I think you should keep playing on 3* until you can win the international cup a couple of times before you move on to the next level. Predicting what the opposition will do is they key.

Check the hints section for advice on formations, styles of play and scoring techniques to help you.

I personally find 5* easier than 3*. On 3* they just seem to defend, and I can never break them down, I usually concede a goal due to counter attack. On 5* the COM opponent seems like they want to score, which leave you with more chances. Of course, if you can't defend..

I used to be the same when i first got playin pes3 but now ive moved up to 3/4* i just try to make it look real as someone said and i tend to pass a lot and give loads of through balls aswell as attacking down the wing a lot and using the double circle tap to cross in :)

Yeah, playing on 5 seems to be working better for me

Jump from 2* to 3* is quite big. 3* to 4* even more. Honest advice is, it will be daunting at first, you won't have much time on the ball as before. Relax and put more thought into your play.

I also think 'fun' is important too, as moving up to 4*,5* the difficulty really increases exponentially. So if you're not having 'fun', bump it down a notch.

Anyways, don't worry too much mate, IMO play at whatever level is comfortable for you. Some of the pro's here jump in at 5* immediately but that may not be for everyone.

Cheers,

dont just run with R1 and dribble all the time..slow down pass alot.dont just pass make sure the pass will go to someone..dont go attacking with 1 forward bring the whole team up..you dont need to try win with 20-0 ..you can win with 2-1 in a realistic and hard earned work =)

edit formation and put your wingers on the line, cross only by circle or B twice, and sometimes press circle or B three times, use alot of through balls, say if your raul on theleft wing and have one man to beat, turn back just as he gets to you let carlos run past and give him a through ball and an easy cross to deliver, or shot if ya fancy one.
