PES4 on a projector

Hi all,

Are any of you playing PES4 on PS2 via a projector?

I'm looking to buy a projector. I borrowed one from work the other week (an ACER) and noticed that for PES4 there was a lot of blurring when players ran or passed the ball. Apparently this happens for quite a few projectors, including the Infocus X2 which creates a similar problem with FIFA 05.

Is anyone here currently playing Pro Evo on the PS2 through a projector, and are you experiencing this blurry/ghosting effect? Can you recommend a good projector (at reasonable cost) which doesn't suffer from this please?

cheers!

Pete

Hi mate,
I'm using a Toshiba Projector TDP-S9E, with a ps2 and pro evo 4.
It's a big room, so the image (projected onto a wall) is 9feet across the diagonal, class.
Blurry yeah a bit but perfectly playable. If i focus in the projecter, ie. make it smaller, it's a lot sharper.
I'd highly recommend it.

Hope it helps, later man...

It is awsome but when you are used to it being on a 28 inch TV and then going straight onto a huge projector I thought it felt a little weird.

Wouldn't mind playing it on a huge cinema screen, if at all possible *laughs to himself at the stupidness of the idea*.

Hey Pete

I play with a projector aswell and it really is brilliant! Unfortunatly i can't recommend which type is best as i have no idea about these things, but if you do get the right one it is really worth it.

I have no issues with the projector i have, it focus' really well.

Was it any good? I thought it would look stupid having the player 20 x 20 foot. Must annoy local cinema to let me do it...

NEC HT1100 is the king of projectors. If 2,000$ is too much, there's always the NEC HT510. Nothing comes close in this price range.
