Dundon's
W.G.P
Hey dudes I've played a lot of PES4 on the x.box over the past couple of weeks and can gladly say "It rocks ass" . After my experience with WE8 on the Ps2 I have to admit I wasn't looking forward to PES4 as much as I usually have in past years. In fact I was dreading that it was going to be another disaster with the whole "slowdown" thing in all.But it has come good and thank God for that.
Now getting back to the topic I was using the Ps2 to play PES4 and tought "Hey this ain't so bad" the slowdown was almost gone except for keeper view goal kicks and some pitchs where you might get a tad of slowdown but nothing major, Dundons was happy.
But I in the meantime I managed to grab a hold of the x.box version and since I already had a PS2 pad converter I said "what the hell" and gave it a try out. First of all I noticed the loading sceen time in general was way quicker (almost none) and the slowdown in the game was gone in every department, plus the graphics are better. Let me also mention that the 50/60 mhz is very important and shouldn't be taken for granted. If you like the speed of PES3 the pick 50, on the other hand if you want a faster fifa like game choose 60.Some of the lads are playing it on 60 and it cracks me up, but every one to their own I suppose.
The gamplay itself is the exact same as the PS2 so theres no need to get really into that side of things as I suspect most of you already have played the game.Overall the X.box version is better because its 100% perfect, If you love PES this is the way forward.
P.S. If anybody knows of an option file/patch for the x box version please throw it my as I'm not looking forward to the editing part of getting the game up to scratch.
