PES5 Slower Gameplay

Does anyone know how to make PC PES5 run slower? Is there any way to change the speed of play? I really want to slow the game right down.

Problems with PES5:

1. The player does not have the adequate tools to play the game well because....

a/The chipped through ball is useless.
b/The long ball is pretty useless and unrealistic too - the animation that PES5 so DESPERATELY needs is the 'nod ahead' move'. Where the player just nods the bouncing ball in front of themselves to run on to. This new nod/flick ahead trick is what PES5 needs for sure. Right analogue stick anyone? Forget 'Manual Pass' CRAP!
c/The camera angles are awful. They need to be adjustable (zoom & height).

PES6 - THE NEW Right Analogue Stick move set. YES, with a deft flick of the right analogue stick (whilst holding down L1), your player will try a fancy flick pass/knock ahead in the desired direction. Only certain star players can perform such fancy flicks.

You watch a football game - you will see flick-ons and knock-ons galore.

Ok I have said my piece now.

I'm with you on the game running too fast on the PC. The PS2 version has a much more manageable and realistic pace... on the PC it's almost as fast as sensible soccer (which was great for sensi, but pro evo is far too complex a game to be played at the silly speed the PC version runs at).
Anyone have any ideas how to get the speed down to the PS2 version's speed?

My refresh rate is already on 60hz... still runs faster than the PS2 version (and we play that in 60Hz too).
Any other suggestions?
