I pitched this idea in the Bloggers Forum a few weeks ago, but it didn't get a response. Not too big of a deal, I don't think.
With news about the new PES and FIFA games slowly becoming available as the months pass, leading up to their respective October releases, I thought it'd be good if PESGaming had a weekly (or monthly...the more likely of the two) Podcast, made available to members, kind of like what WENB do. Now obviously, we wouldn't be able to get major game reviewers/insiders involved like WENB do, but I think that hearing the views of the members in audio form could be good. Sweey and Phatmann, who I have spoken to about this already, have backed me up and think it's a good idea.
I think if we were to have a regular Podcast being put out, it could generate more interest to the forum.
We can't have a Podcast on PESGaming without someone willing to run one. So that's where the members (hopefully) come in. I have my own view as to who I think would be good to do it, but I have no idea if that person has the equipment to record a Podcast and get it uploaded. I know I don't.
Please, don't dismiss the idea straight away. It's something that's in the very early stages of possibly making it happen. I think there's a strong possibility of it running well, if we can get somebody (or people...) reliable enough.
If we did get this running, there's nothing stopping others from the forum getting involved, airing their views along with the "host," so to speak.
That's pretty much everything. What I will say, is that if you're interested in seeing a Podcast on PESGaming, make it clear in the thread. Also, if you're interested in possibly running the Podcast, PM me to let me know and we can get chatting.
This is being posted in Off Topic as well, so everyone will have the opportunity to read it. If you already state that you'd like a Podcast in one thread, there's no need to say the same in the other.
So, yeah. PM me if you'd like to host, post in the thread if you'd like to have a Podcast available.
