CHELSEA (LFC4EVA) 0-1 VALENCIA (CPU)
Goalscorer: Kily Gonzalez 48

Kily Gonzalez knocked the 'big spenders' out of the cup with a goal early in the second half.
After 22 minutes, Hernan Crespo powered a long range effort agaisnt the post from long range. It was 3 minutes into the second half when the goal that turned out to be the winner was scored, Kily Gonzales firing hard past Cudicini. Crespo nearly grabbed Chelsea a late equaliser one minute from time but his header went narrowly over.

AC MILAN (Zygalski) 1-0 ROMA (sam erasa)
Goalscorer: Inzaghi

AC Milan secured 1st place in the group with a late effort from Filippo Inzaghi.
On the stroke of half time, Totti struck the post for Roma after an impressive first half performance. Milan grabbed a winner in the 78th minute when Inzaghi headed home a Rivaldo corner. The goal was a bit harsh on Roma who equalled their opponents throughout although they won't worry about that too much as they qualify for the next round.

Group 1 - Final Standings
1. AC Milan 5
2. Roma 4

3. Valencia 4
4. Chelsea 2

He does, as I am now aware.
Valencia are out now anyway, it's just unfortunate for Chelsea.

REAL MADRID (Paul B) 1-0 KIEV (mellows)
Goalscorer: Ronaldo 9

Real Madrid beat Kiev at the final hurdle to clinch a place in the next round. Ronaldo got the goal on 9 mins, a stunning strike that flew into the top corner. Real Madrid dominated the match and really should have beaten their opponents by more. A fair reflection of the game was summed of in Madrids 11 shots to Kiev's 1. Although Kiev find themselves out of the cup, their constellation prize is that they finished 3rd after being favourites to finish rock bottom.

MAN UTD (jag87) 2-2 FEYENOORD (Del Pino)
Goalscorers: Giggs 21, Ronaldo 83, Kuijt 67, Buffel 86

A thrilling game saw Feyenoord's cup come to and end and opposite fortunes for Man Utd. Man Utd took the lead on 21 mins, Ryan Giggs slotting past the keeper. In the 67th minute Kuijt levelled things up. Ronaldo grabbed a 83rd minute goal after chesting the ball down and side footing past the keeper. Just when it looked like Man Utd had grabbed a winner, Buffel popped up with an 86th minute equaliser. Man Utd cruise through to the next round as group winners on 7 points.
