Has anyone tried playing WE7 on a plasma screen? I was told by a vendor that Plasma screen bring out the best in terms of picture clarity for movies but not gaming stuff like those from PS2. Can anyone confirm this cause I am contemplating of buying a Plasma TV once the price falls further.

actualy i was planning to do the same thing, a plasma screen like a 50 incher that would be sweet, i think it brings the best in quality even in games, i am not sure though as LCD screens are good with computer games

i wish i had the money to even afford/consider a plasma screen so i could spend it on a CRT flat screen digital TV and put the money towards a car :D

I played PES3 on a 42 inch NEC Plasma TV last weekend. It was cool, but the graphics didn't look as sharp as they do on my 29 inch Sony Trinitron. I think we should have reduced the colour settings and turned up the contrast but I didn't wanna say anyhing as it's not my TV.

yeah i have a plasma screen and surround sound - it is not bad but widescreen isn't supported in pes3, so it looks streched with fat players and not that great - its good for playing on the wide camera angle though cause then you can see the players up close and then alot of the feild.

so its good but buy it to watch sport in real life - not just for pro evo :D

I play on a 60" plasma at work and the picture quality is superb !!!!

Although, if I were to buy one of my own I would probably go for a LCD, the quality on those is fantastic !!!!

Hey Darren (aka BB), how are you mate?

In regard to your LCD comment, just make sure that it has HIGH response time, otherwise you'll have the "ghost effect". Usually response time is b/w 25-35ms (mili seconds), which is not good for games especially high action packed. It is recommended that the LCD dispay is under 20ms, but even with 16ms, I have little ghost effect on mine in my office. Especially after goal kicks and shots, which becomes annoying after some time.

There's new Samsung which has 12ms reponse time, I would love to see how that thing looks :)

If I were you, I would go for plasma :)
