Yes, that's right! Except for his gloves, he's wearing the exact same kit as the rest of his Benfica team mates.

I've tried this against Inter, Copenhagen and Olympiakos.

Pretty inexcusable really. A very obvious bug which means the Konami testers were crap and / or Konami really didn't give the European release too much attention at all.

that is the actual Benfica GK Away kit, it's very similar to the outfield kit, except it has elbow pads.

research first before commenting.

That is the goalkeeper jersey he wears when Benfica play in red. Fair enough... He shouldn't wear it however when the outfield team are wearing the same colour. It has elbow pads but looks the same in all other respects to the away kit and as such wouldn't be allowed on the field. It's a bug. A bug can mean any issue that affects gameplay. Not just an obvious glitch.

I work in games development so feel free to argue what a bug is. Technically it's a "B". Non-fatal but should be fixed.

But don't all liscensed teams only have 'one' goalkeeper kit? If they gave Benfica an extra kit all others would need one too. There was a similar thing in PES5, one of the spanish teams second kit was almost identical to the keepers home. It's alot of work to fix it by adding an extra keeper kit for every team, in that respect i can see why they left it untouched.

Yes, it seems that way. However, the issue could have been addressed with a little bit of effort I believe.

For the record, the reason I flagged the issue in the first place was that I actually had done my research by watching the Celtic - Benfica match last week. Here's the goalie wearing a BLACK shirt with Benfica in beige.
So to the cheeky chap who said I should research, well take your own medicine.

Konami should have made the goalie wear a black shirt. If one goalie outfit is all they could have put in then it has to be neutral to at least his own team's home and away kits.

Addendum:

Hence why in the game Iker Casillas wears luminous green which is possibly the 3rd goalie kit.

Yeah i suppose they could of done that, but maybe they thought it was more important to add in the home shirt... IDK, it's too late to be worrying now - nothing can be done... lets just hope next year goalies have both home and away kits. ;)
