I wish this was possible and I wish crossplaform play was possible as well... PC vs PS3 vs Xbox AND world wide Europe vs Asia vs Americas Now that would be a community !!! If its a 3rd party game and its basically a port of its self then I dont see why this wouldn't be possible at some point.
