player movement

Hello,

I would like to know if, as it happens in pes2, the player movement is restricted in only eight directions, or it is possible to move the players in every position of the analogic stick, like it was in iss64, for nintendo 64.

How works the manual pass? I have read is possible to do this with pressing R3, but I don't understant how is the pass power regulated.

Thanks

hi cesc,

the movement is the same, however a lot less noticeable as the players can to a sort of sidestep push with the ball to change direction, theres loads of little touches in regarding the players ball controll, little foot moves that blend the change in direction better, for instance i was playing as schalke 04 yesterday and gave the ball to WILMOTS IN THE BOX who controlled it first, brought it onto his stronger foot with a little sidestep (the kind you can do in pes2 when walking) then just pushed the ball forward diagonally with his instep before cracking a shot which was blocked. it looked beautiful.

The manual pass i havent used much, however its a case of pressing down the r3 button and pushing in the direction you wish. However you can knock manual passes forward anyway with the normal buttons.
