I was just wondering if the players actually age and retire now (in PES4 master league), 'cause I've just read an article in GamesTM which says thay do, and I'm really hoping this is right 'cause it's the only place i've seen it.
We won't end up with all the best players in our teams if this is the case, and it will keep the game interesting.
Here's hoping. :)

yes it's true, I play WE8 and I usually stay away from buying the big superstars, because they're already at their prime! I've built a ML team entirely of youngsters and they have all now have amazing stats, it's so much more satisfying watching your youngsters grow and go on to dominate in the game

I have edited some players of Ajax and then started a ML with Ajax (orginal names). However: al my edit work has been done for nothing because all players have their default stats..

So: is it true that you can edit the players but this doens't have affect for the ML?

Heh heh...yeah...me too ..but what a pain in the ass...all that pre-season training!!!

BTW leonbaars maybe if you edit BEFORE you start it should have worked...but I think I have also seen a post showing you how to burn a new copy of WE8 with edited stats and even edited default (Castollo, Barota etc) player nmes in English.

Did you select the 3rd option when asked after starting the master league? First option is default players, second is a mixture, third is the authentic team.

Is there an option to turn this off as I dont really like the sound of it to be honest... I like having the Figo's, Zidane's and Beckham's of this world in my team... I don't wanna play and then they retire within 3 seasons and sign them after as being 18! :confused: Thats hardly realistic...
Hopefully in Pro Evo you'll be able to turn that off.. like the transfers in Pro Evo 3! (finding out RVN and Henry had both joined West Ham did disturb me a bit! LOL)
