Playing with a friend on the PC

hello everyone,

new to the forum, got a quick question, I am the owner of www.cygaming.net a Cypriot site for all gaming. We are thinking of setting up a league for PES08, many have shown interest and ive started playing on my copy on the PC, the thing that ive noticed is that theres no way of playing with a friend and no way to add a friend.

is this the case? or have i missed something?

how are we supposed to play against each other in the league when we cant find each other?

we use xfire, but isnt there a way in which we can add friends in game and find them in game to play? I also have PES08 on the xbox360 and there u have all your friends and u just invite them to join your game. But on the PC ive found nowhere where u can add a friend to have a friendly match.

On 360 your using the live service to add friends and invite people. The pc version (and ps2 & ps3 i think) have no such function and never have IIRC. Thats why I said use X-fire, its save time and effort and is transferable across all games. You can however invite people to a friendly match on the PC version, or rather there is a menu for it at least. As there was no-one online playing friendlies at the time I have no way of knowing if this works or if it is left over code from another version ported over (eg xbox).
