Please help

I'm new and I got my first PES game, PES2008 a couple of days ago. I have been saving stuff to a memory card but it won't let me load the saved data and I get a message that says "the option file is corrupted, loading failed".

Can somebody please help? I tried using a different memory card and even tried saving on my brothers console but got the same message.

If anybody can help, it would be great. I am only 12 so need explanations in an easy to understand way.

Posted this on the option file forum but nobody bothered to reply. Can't see much point in playing this game if I can't save or retrieve anything, so could somebody please please help me.

Delete all the stuff off the memory card then get back to us.

i had that problem right pain in the arse. delete ur option files from pro 4,5,6 or whichever ones you have. thats what worked for me anyway. also deleted all my replays from pro 5 and 6

Didn't want to delete the whole card because it had some other stuff on that I could still load. So I tried adding new stuff from a different game and that saved but wouldn't load.

so tried saving new stuff from both pes and fifa 08 to a different memory card and that does work now!!!

Weird, but I'm guessing that the first memory card is going to pack up soon?

Seen somebody selling stick duo cards that they say are ok for ps2, is that right? i thought you could only use the cards like the original sony or max cards?
