Alright lads, I'm going trough hell with my copy of WE8...

It's gone to the stage that I just wanna take the PS2 and hop it off the wall for being so shit.
I'm used to a savage setup of PES3 on my PC so this whole slowing down caper is a pain in the tits.

I got a few easy questions?

I play with the stadium effects off and the crowd set to none or 1* and it seems mostly fine for me.

yeah, I did that yesterday it works well. But when you pick old trafford as the stadium, it still occurs.

P.S. Why didn't they fix this bug :confused: ,its spoiled the whole thing for me. :(

All except ''Old Trafford''. Especially the stadium with the circle patterns, that never slowsdown, trust.

Try this:

Play on Olimpiastadion (GERMANY)

Put it on angle 9.

Choose Intermediate camera before you get Zoom.

You`ll be all set mate. I really don`t notice any slowdowns when having these settings. That camera type "Intermediate" is the one used for EURO 2004 and with angle 9 you get that full tilt just like on TV.

You can even play with this camera on any stadium and the slowdowns will be mostly gone. I tried playing on TV3 (Arsenal & Highbury cam) and the slowdown killed me.

P.S. Last thing, Is the slowdown ever "Gone" at anystage with the setting you have your game set at?

you know what, captain. The match is mostly smooth, well for me it is :) .

p.s yesterday I found 2 teams that are my favourites in WE8. Cruzeiro and Partizan Belgrade. I managed to beat both Real with Partizan and Arsenal with Cruz, on 5 stars. Wicked innit :D ?

Thanks dude, I'll try all the stuff you guys posted.How the fudge did Konami release such a bug? This could be detrimental.Just when the PESseries was taking off in around Europe. :eek:

P.S.All the FIFA heads out there will be loving this.

Why God why did they have to destroy all that was good, all that was pure and all that was real to me.I'm devastated.....It's the the only game I ever play and I have a chipped PS2,X-Box and a souped up P.C.
Why did they even bother releasing it??????It's shit full stop and if PES4 has the same crap going on,I'm going on a hunger strike until its sorted.
I hate the view,the graphics are cat,the games slows down all the time,the shooting is barrel,players float around the pitch like FIFA,and I'v got a million more things to say but haven't got the time.....(nuff said)

P.S. I'm gonna keep playing my perfect PES3 on my PC with my savage graphics and savage gameplay. :cool:

P.P.S. Its a real pity when it had loads of cool new editing options and bags of super little extras.

Don't worry captain, your hunger strike won't be long as these problems will definetly 100% surely will be fixed for PES4. Similar stuff happened with WE7. You can let off your anger against PESInsight United this weekend :D .

I think the game is savage ( in your words :) ) and almost flawless without the floating player ( only happens sometimes ) and the slowdowns.

1. wide camera view, angle 5-9
2.crowd settings for home/away 3 stars
3. night game
4. at san siro or other "big" stadium

now can you honestly tell me its not affected and has no slowdown when there is a crowded penalty area when in Corner Kicks or crossing??? :(
