Here Here, shame on you Konami. What a slap in the face to all those who have support the game & made it what it is today. It would have been better to wait till you could support it on both platforms rather than only one. & that one had to be Xbox!!!! me no understand the logic!!!

ITs soo wrong to blame Konami. IMO blame Sony by taking a cheaper but crappy alternative to online gaming. If it was a good service i cant see it not being on PS2 online but its not

That is SO VERY TRUE Mike!!! I have both systems and I have 512 broadband connection. There is NO F@#$%^& way that PES4 would work on PS2 online service. It is P.O.S. and who ever is thinking about getting an online adaptor, just DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Invest in Xbox, it really is worth.

And to the guy who said about socom. Man, I haven't played more unpleasant shooter online. If there is a little lag (and there is always lag), you are out. It's frustating.Only Sony has the count of "that many people" playing socom. I bet my money that more people play Halo than socom.

Anyway, Mike thanks for that post, you just slapped all those PS2 right IN THE FACE. While all of them are playing games against computer and other players, WE ARE GOING ONLINE!!! WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!

And here's another slap in the face to PS2diehards. THERE IS NO SLOWDOWN WHATSOEVER ON XBOX VERSION, whilst PS2 still has it :)))))))))))))))))))

Thank god for a thing called ebay or else i would still be stuck with a network adaptor. PS2 online is really rubbish. no wonder its a free service. and i can also confirm that there will be no slowdowns on the xbox version not sure about PS2 tho

Yep, ebay got me free of that piece of junk as well. No slowdown on xbox, but PS2 still has it, and it's on the same bloody spots as in WE8, on corners, or just in general to say, whenever there are many players on the screen. I tried it only on wide camera, won't bother with others as I just wanted to check whether they have fixed it. And they haven't...

You can confirm there will be no slowdowns? :rolleyes: .. I thinks there will be no slowdowns in the X-box version, because I think the slow-down on WE8 is caused by the lack of power the PS2 has...

Yes broadband is needed Singh, theres a list of providers on the xbox.com website if you look at connecting to xbox live there. The best is probably BT Broadband, but there are many others such as NTL. I personally have AOL (it only works with DSL) And i wudnt recoment using AOL for gaming!

the peole that have played both WE8 and the Xbox version said there were no noticeable slowdowns. i think i'll believe people who have played the game

lol yea ive got broadband NTl but i just wanted to know wat speed u would reccomend for x-box live? I used to have Aol sorri to say it was crap
