pro evolution 5 patch

Hello there. I need help please. I've been looking at some of the downloads on here for pro evolution 5 but can't find what i need. Basically, all i want is a patch for the correct team and player names (and maybe strips aswell if thats possible). I downloaded the translation patch for WE9 which was great and i used ppf-o-matic for that. So basically, can someone just give me a link or tell me exactly where to find the exact patch i need? Maybe theres a patch that does everything???? Any help is appreciated but i only want to use the ppf-o-matic method because i know that works for me already. Thanks people.

I think Jonboyo makes the patches that have everything included in there (kits, logos, names etc, etc).

I wouldn't download the singular patches if I were you. I'd wait for Jonboyo to release his latest work (he's a genius!).

Besides, I'm also wondering when Jonboyo is going to release his patch for PES5.

Anyone got any idea when he's going to release it? I'm sure that last year there was a Jonboyo patch released around 30th October. Which should mean that the PES5 one is out soon.

Jonboyo has retired I'm afraid lads. He has released a small music patch for PES5 but family responsibilities make it impossible for him to invest so much time and effort into a patch.

Fishcake and Hawke make great patches for PES5 as do WEMERICA.

If you want only correct team and player names (and maybe strips aswell if thats possible), try then downloading Option file from PESFAN, it has all of it, and you don`t have to patch the game... Though shirts are far from patched version.

This is rubbish, you click on the file download area, then when you go to the forum where the links supposed to be for the file download there's nothing there. Well, what a brilliant system, does a 10 year old run this site or something?

Just click on the "Megaupload Links" Part 1, Part 2 and so on. The downloads will start automatically after a while. The patch is large so it should take quite a while to download all the parts, but it's well worth it. The system is a commonly used system for sharing/downloading information and files and is (I thought) newbie proof. I guess I was wrong. :mellow:

Cant be bothered to download all those seperate files as im not sure they would work with ppf-o-matic. Im after just 1 file that includes the correct strips and correct club and player names. Thats all.

Then get an updated option file instead.

And yes, the patches clearly do work with ppf-o-matic. The only question is whether people are capable enough to follow the patching instructions.

ok, thanks for getting back to me. I just tried the mega upload but part 1 was going to take 42 mins so im not going to bother with that. Where exactly can i get one of these option files from?

Well, I'm very disappointed to hear that Jonboyo has retired from PES patching. He makes some excellent patches. It's a huge loss for the PES community.

Anyway, are there any alternatives to Jonboyo's patch? As in similiar patches.

I mean, what I'm looking for is a patch (for PES5) that has:

1. Correct player, team, cup competition and stadium names;
2. Correct kits for all national and club teams;
3. Correct logos for all club teams and cup competitions.

It doesn't necassarily have to use the PPF patching method but it would be preferred (I can give DKZ a try).

I'm not really bothered about sounds as I can put them into the DVD image myself.

So can anyone point me in the right direction? Or does anyone know of a patch that applies the 3 items in the list above?

To stop you getting in a tiz, go to the forums front page and scroll down to you get to File downloads, click on that and go down to Option files. Then buy a MAX drive from this site for the reasonable price of £15 me thinks. Once you have that, download the file on the the MAX drive, delete or backup your old option file and put it on your memory card, and shazam! You have all the kits, correct player names and other bits and pieces
