Problems burning ISO

I'm desperate to play the patch of JayZ123's along with the MyMy patches with Nemro's bootpack. Trouble is, Alcohol 120%, Nero, DVD Decryptor and everything which can possibly burn a disc. I own the above programs, I own many DVD-R's and DVD+R's and also CD-R's (for Option Files) but the programs simply refuse to recognise I have a blank disc in my PC. It's quite frankly frustrating as I'm eager to play a patched PES6 as once you've played a patched game, there's no going back to default.

I'm hoping someone can help me resolve this issue, Rep will definetely be added (maybe on more than 1 occasion) if your wisdom is successful.

What type of media have you put in the drive?

It sounds like to me that the media you've put in the drive is not supported by your drive's firmware.

I've tried putting both DVD-R and DVD+R in the drive. Blank discs, but still Alcohol and Nero read "No Disc".

Does this happen with cheap discs as they're cheap ? Or should they still be readable.

I've had this problem with cheap discs - but only once and I wasn't entirely convinced at the time it happened anyway.

Have you gone into Explorer and tried to see if Windows is even recognising the fact you've inserted a disc into the drive (whilst in Nero but before telling it to burn)?

When I open My Computer and double-click DVD-RW Drive (E) it does say 'Please Insert a disk into drive E'. Does this mean the DVD+R's are too cheap ?

I've burned with them before on my brothers PC before he re-formatted, he hasn't a clue how to solve it either as it was never a problem.

PS: See you're getting into the swing of using the Invisibility Cloak. ;)

Considering what My Computer is saying, the problem is the discs. I've just this second inserted a blank DVD+R into my DVD burner and it simply shows me that there's nothing on the disc. What make are the discs you're using?

I put one of the DVD+R's in the top tray (D: ) and opened My Computer and could double-click the DVD/CD-RW Drive which opened showing nothing, however it's obviously a blank disc. So I'm confused, I'll try and burn using the top tray, if that doesn't work I'll buy some better discs.

Discs ? Tesco baby! :mellow:

EDIT: When I double-click the DVD/CD-R Drive (D: ) it opens to show nothing anyway despite not having a disc in. Bastard.

Let me/us (is anyone out there?) know the results. I don't often shop for CDs or DVDs but when I do I just get Verbatim ones because they've always worked for me and I can't be bothered with the hassle of something not working after I've bought it.

Going back to Tesco in a minute to ram them back down the managers throat and dick-slap him. Although in saying that, I'm sure he'll love it as he really is a homosexual.

I think this could have something to do with the speed of the media you're trying to use.

Hunter, what was the speed of the DVD media you were having problems with?

Speed of the media ? Explain please.

If that means what it says on the front of the disc then it says 8x. However my new TDK DVD+R's say 1-16x.

Hey Hunter have you made sure you configured your DVD drive on Nero?

Is this your right drive and everything?

Yeah I've got JayZ123's patch working, thanks guys, really, Rep to you all bitches. Was in fact the cheap discs and what not, now I need to try and build the ultimate patch of JayZ123, MyMy, and Nemro's boot pack.
