putting pes2008 on harddrive

Hi, my dvd player is playing up, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
Pes2006 was stored on my hard drive, but I cant remember how I got it there, I just know i didnt need the disk all the time. How do i put 2008 on to HD?

im not too sure about no-dvd crack, but i know cracks are to do with illegal downloads. All i can tell you is that I bought both this and PES2006.

I think what happened with 2006 was that a message came up saying as i played this game so much it may be better to transfer to HD, and that doing so would improve gameplay. I have heard this is a feature of Vista, but im on XP !?!

So maybe its something to do with my amillo. Eitherway i really want to bump this on to hd as disk player is FUBAR and Castolo and Valeny were really coming on to a game :(

But the problem is copy protection. As soon as you apply the crack, the game stops asking for the cd, without copying anything. Which means that all the info is already on your hard drive. But the copy protection program will keep asking for it, just to see if you have it.

I don't know all the legal issues, but as an example, X3:Reunion developers, Egosoft, released a no-cd crack together with their 1.4 patch. I don't know if it's illegal when a third party releases it, but I think it's debatable, since it's your game and you own the original disc. From that point of view, kitserver would be illegal, because it alters your .exe file.

If you want to be sure about it, though, do a little research or ask someone else.
