Putting PS2 Option File onto PS3

Can anyone help with this - can I burn it to CDR or put it onto memory stick. If so, is there a specifivc folder name I have to use so the PS3 can find the data?

you can put it on a memory stick. i used my max drive, but you need a .psv option file for the ps3

make a folder on your memory stick called PS3 then another folder inside called EXPORT then one inside that called PSV. the option file goes in the PSV folder

Yes, you will need a .psv file. If you're trying to put a .max or .xps file, you have to put it on a PS2 memory card and use a Memory Card Adapter to get it on your PS3.

But if you have a .psv file you can transfer it in one of many different ways. CD-R, DVD-R, memory stick, USB Drive, SD card will all work. Just put it in the folder ROOT:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV
