Another question,,,,,,,

If I patch a game, and then apply a new patch, will the effects of the first patch dissappear?

You can´t patch an already patched image normally, only with the official update for this patch (if there is an update)

That's why it's very important that you make a backup of your unpatched image, so you won't have to go through the ripping process again.

How do you back up your clean image?

I tried to figure out how but I was confused.

Thanks in advance. :)

you simply just make another copy of the bin and cue file before you apply any patches.

I'm having to rip the whole damn thing again as my PC's harddrive had to be deleted. Ahhhhh

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a long process but it seems easy. ;)

Edit: When you say make another copy, do you mean...

1) Rip it again or
2) save it to a CD or
3) right click or it and save it

other words how do you back it up?

Thanks Raish. :)

After you've completed the ripping process, you are left with a folder containing a patchable PES3 bin and cue files, approx 720MB and 1KB in size.

Keep this folder safe and do not patch it. Copy the whole folder to another place and then patch this copy. The copied folder shold also contain a bin (720MB) and a cue (1KB). Then when you have finished with the patched version, you can delete the patched copy folder and make a new copy of the original bin and cue folder and continue.

If you're going to be using lots of patches, keep the original folder on your PC. Either way, it's probably best to keep a backup burnt onto a CD. You'll probably have to use WinRar to rar up the folder so it fits onto a 700MB CDR as I did.

If you delete or patch your original bin/cue, you'll have to rip it from DVD again.

Hope this makes sense.
I'm going to rename this thread so it's more helpful to others.
