Can a R1 PES2012 play with a R2 PES2012 online?

Which it wont be.

Region 1: United States, Canada & US territories

Region 2: Virtually all of the Eu, the Middle East, Egypt, Japan, South Africa and a few others I can't recall.

PS3 gaming is region free, but whether you can play across regions is purely down to the servers used. TDU for example is fully region free as they had good support. Konami's servers are usually shite and restricted, from memory.

sorry for my previous post i thought it refered to the location of the left and right testicles, however myself and orlandospur were all geared up for a game online but were stumped when we tried due to him being in USA and me bein in UK, as mentioned by flicker the servers are set to there own continents so there will be no transatlantic games in match rooms, however i would like to find out if u can be paired with a different continent player in quick match mode? probably not but if anyone knows feel free to let me know asap
