The new patch was released on 19/09/2013!!
The new patch features:

The below features have been added to Online:
1) Both "Ranked Match" and "Player Match" are selectable in "Match".
2) "Master League Online" is now selectable in "Football Life".
3) "Online Settings" have been added as a Top Menu Option. This can be used to configure a wide range of online options.

* Minor adjustments have been made to a variety of modes to improve general gaming experience.

Sounds as though there will be a new button on the main menu - "Online Settings"

Online settings is an option on the left hand side of the top menu.

I got a 4mb update last friday and during the week. Although, I may have installed an option file between those and ended up having to reinstall that update. Does anyone know what that or those updates were about?

Is this XBox only?
Cause my PS3 still says I am at 1.0 and there is nada to download.

i guess this is not the patch that will fix online lag and gameplay bugs.... I just saw the date and thats like 3 weeks ago!

None on the xbox that I've noticed anyway.

I think we might have to wait for the dlc in november to see if there will be any change in the gameplay.
