Kitserver 7 should do the trick. The directory inside the archive must be placed inside the PES 2008 folder and if you're in Vista, run Kitserver by right-clicking the setup program and selecting Run as administrator.

I installed it successfully but It still wont allow me to set any resolution higher than 1024x768.

It did on mine :erm: although I already had 1600x900 available before using it. Your graphics card, depending on what it is, could be limiting your options. Also, ensure you're setting the graphics quality to High.
