Ripping PES4DVD to XBOX HD and applying patch?...

I know this is a noob question and you can shoot / ban me if ya want!... but I can't seem to find an answer for this... I'm sorry!...

Can I rip the dvd to my HD and apply patches without having a mod chip?
Or even play a patched dvd without a modchip?

I'm using borag thugs option file from pesfan at the moment which i transfered with my maxdrive... it is good but... its just not enough! I want boots and different music and different title screens, all the stuff i've been seeing on here! and more importantly Leeds united on my game!

I can get a modchip fitted for £25 no probs, if i am needing this, which modchip would you guys reccomend? or is there not necessarily a fave?

thanks for lookin mumpleaser!... thought i was being ignored!... I'm pretty sure i'll have to get it chipped, I've seen a few posts saying it can be done, where to get the patches and what the results are like n stuff, but there is never any indication whether the box is chipped? or if its done with some other ingenious way...

If anyone can shed any light it'd be much appreciated...

I have my xbox chipped to xecuter3 but want to copy this to the HD with the patch incl. Anyone know of just an option file for the players update etc etc. As easy as it is via the PC.

Can't make head nor tail of that sorry StokoE!?
Do you want to patch the full thing or just use an edited option file?... say like the one from pesfan.com? you may as well patch it if you have your box chipped ant ya?
