its going to be default teams on 5star level with players with red arrows my concern at the mo is tht we dont have player for fiorentina can any1 of u find a m8 if not the ill have to a draw for a team to get a by to the next round
zygalski i have unfortunatly not received your team tactics via email it wud be easier to post it on thsi thread!
the draw will take place tomorow at 10am and the first game will be 7pm results will be posted on here at 8:30pm

so we are sorted we was unable to find a player for fiorentina which means now tht a player which will be drawn tomorrow will receive a by to the semi final zygalski my email is at present broke so i didnt recieve your tactics but u do have till 11am tomorrow to post it on this thread im sorry about that.

So whats gonna happen when the teams go through, will it be another draw like they do in the FA Cup or will it be like the CL so say if Juventus go through and AC Milan go through will they play each other. Het that'll be the match of the tournament aswell!! I'm gonna kick your little booty Zyg!

THE RESULTS
i have the results and have done a mtach report however after this set of results im no longer going to do match reports as it time consuming, the next stage is going to be like an fa cup draw so its like the draw for the quater final.INTER MILAN 2-0 ROMA

In a one sided affair 2 goals in the first half an hour settled this clash of the giants. INTER led as early as the second minute when a powerful shot from recoba was palmed into the path of a waiting vieri who couldn’t miss.1-0 INTER. INTER dominated the first half an hour with fine passing and quick movement which made ROMA look like 11 beer bellies out on the lash the night before.INTER doubled there lead a free-kick from the right flank was met by a powerful vieri header which left pelizzoli with no chance.

Straight from the kick off ROMA looked the better team but there final ball let them down they had a 10 minute spell of long range efforts but none that troubled toldo. In a boring second half the only real chance fell to ronaldo and could quiet have been a contender of goal of the tounement all ready, the corner came over, the ball wasnt cleared properly and ronaldo opted for bycicle, which lobbed pelizzoli but went agonisingly over the bar.

in my expectation this was the worst game on the fixture list. How wrong I was this game was like a basketball match with both teams creating chances at either end in the first 15 mins. There wasn’t a really good chance until the 23-min when umit karan was put through by sas only to have his shot saved by the legs of peruzzi. The game then slowly drifted to half time with most possession in the midfield

LAZIO kicked of the second half lopez receiving the ball he ran through the GALATASARAY team and unleashed a spectacular shot only to be matched by a fine by monraptor who could only tip it round the post. LAZIO were on top but was caught on the counter attack sas squared the ball to arif and with a stranded peruzzi was odds on to score but some how managed to hit the side netting.again with the majority of the possesion in the midfield and both sides ending with 4 bookings each the 90 mins ended goaless

Extra time started as both the halves had ended in the 90mins hard challenging but with chances

This was an excellent game much like galatasaray v lazio only with two teams making chances and forcing the keepers to work. The first chance fell to PARMA when a 30 yrd free kick by micoud clipped the bar. They took the lead on the half hour a cross by juniour was met with an almighty header by mboma to leave rossi with no chance. MILAN then came back they had a 10 minute spell where they camped on the edge of the PARMA box the got there equaliser through inzaghi, man of the match shevchenko gave inzaghi the ball he side stepped ferrari and slotted neatly under frey .1-1.

MILAN started the second half brighter again forcing PARMA to play on the edge of there own box, however PARMA got a break a fine individual run by di viao who then squared it to mboma at the far post and from a fine piece of defending was tackled to by maldini saving his team from going 2-1 down, that the only real chance of the second half.

PARMA should have won the game in the first minute di viao who was a handful to the MILAN defense squared the ball to mboma who blazed over the bar.

shevchenko who had worked tirelessly almost won it in the final minute, he cut inside and lob frey who was off his line some how frey got back and tipped it over

The score line does not give justice to this game JUVENTUS were so unlucky to win 1-0 they absolutely hammered FIORENTINA in the game of the day. They started the better team and were forcing FIORENTINA to concede corners left right and centre, they should have been 1-0 up on 12 minutes when a corner was played short del piero crossed and o’niell headed home only for it to be given offside the replay suggested other wise as there was no daylight between the players. On 23 mins they did score and great ball from o’neil to salas left the chilean with half the pitch to run into he left 2 defenders in his wake and cooly finished.10 minuted later they should have doubled the lead a scuffed shot by del piero fell to o’niel who stabbed the ball on to the foot of the far post.

In the second half juventus opted for long ball it almost paid off as trezeguet was put through on to see his shot beat the keeper but not the far post,.the long ball seem to suit juventus del pierp this time put through only this time the keeper saved well and conceeded a corner, from the resulting corner trezeguet found space turned well and fired his shot onto the post the ball then rolled out the box where del piero was brought down, he took the free kick and o’neils header was cleared off the line then striking the post!
